Brakes FAQ

Brake Repair Questions

How do I know if I need pads or rotors?

We measure both. Pads wear out first; rotors need replacing when they’re too thin, warped or scored. We’ll show you the measurements.

Why do my brakes squeal?

Often it’s the wear indicator telling you pads are low, but it can also be glazed pads or debris. A quick inspection tells us which.

Can brake repair be done the same day?

Many brake jobs can. We’ll confirm timing with your estimate once we know which parts are needed.
